The United States Food and Drug Administration disclosed details regarding a unique seminar opportunity titled "Cell Therapies and Tissue-Based Products: A Public Workshop on Generating Scientific Evidence to Facilitate Development.”
Workshop To Focus On The Current State Of Development and Testing
The agency issued the notice in the Federal Register.
The stated purpose of the virtual gathering is to provide clarity on the state of the science for development and testing of certain therapies and products.
Relevant industry stakeholders will review best practices. Their focus will be specific to efforts that support the generation of scientific data necessary and the development of cellular therapies. (This includes stem cell products.)
How To Participate In The Discussion
The workshop is open to the public.
It will be held virtually on February 25, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Interested parties will need to be registered prior to 8:30 a.m. on February 25, 2025.
