Train & Earn EMT Certification Program for Veterans
Northwell Health is providing a full scholarship to all veterans and service members who participate in the Train & Earn EMT Certification Program
In collaboration with the Center for Learning & Innovation and Military Liaison Services, Northwell Health's Center for Emergency Medical Services (CEMS) is pleased to provide a comprehensive training program at a cost to veterans and service members who wish to progress in their career as emergency medical technicians (EMTs). The goal of this seven-week paid on-the-job training program is to get qualified veterans and service members ready for the NYS EMT certification test.

PhD and Non-PhD Nursing Scholarships From Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania
Applications Open Through April 15, 2024.
Applicants must be a resident of Pennsylvania and intend to continue working in PA after graduation.
The goal of the award program is to assist Pennsylvanians pursuing advanced nursing degrees (Master's, Doctoral), PhD programs, or basic nursing programs (LPN, Diploma, ADN, BSN, BSN Completion).
Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania is a statewide, non-profit organization. They are focused on recognizing exemplary nursing practice, and granting scholarships to students pursuing degrees at all levels of nursing. Their volunteer Board of Trustees, consists of leaders in nursing, business, industry, and other healthcare fields. Over the past thirty-two years, the organization has provided more than 200 nursing scholarships totaling over $410,000 and has honored more than 800 Pennsylvania nurses at its annual gala.
